Wedding Receptions

A more formal, but relaxed family atmosphere, with complete privacy in which to hold your reception, would be hard to find in Norfolk. Whilst the rooms offered have a maximum capacity, the garden has space amongst ancient Yew trees for a marquee of any size. Weddings over a certain size might choose to use the Music Room for the initial standing reception followed by a sit-down meal in a marquee; or perhaps just use a marquee and if the weather suits enjoy a pre-meal champagne reception on the lawn overlooking a spectacular landscape. No two weddings are ever the same so we tailor your requirements to suit.


Civil Marriage Ceremonies

The Music Room is licensed for marriage ceremonies and has a maximum capacity of 100 seated comfortably in rows. You are responsible for advising the Superintendent Registrar of your dates, and all of the detailed arrangements for the ceremony must be made with the Register Office, at Churchman House, 71 Bethel Street, Norwich NR2 1NR. Food and Drink

We can recommend a number of caterers that have worked with us and know the layout of Kimberley, however we do not insist you use them. Most caterers expect to be responsible for the serving of drinks throughout your function. Should you wish to have a pay-bar, a licensed individual must be employed.


Marquees, Flowers, Photographers, Music Etc

We can give guidance on suppliers of flowers, photographs, music and other such services, but would expect you to organise these independently and keep us informed on what you have arranged.
