About Cornucopia

Join us for Cornucopia, a family friendly festival of artisan, epicurean & musical delights on the 6th June in the beautiful parkland and terraced garden of Kimberley Hall looking towards the lake. This is Cornucopia’s first year and hopefully the first of many to come.

We can’t wait to introduce you to over 90 artisan and epicurean producers carefully picked from East Anglia and beyond, together with an enjoyable programme of international live music throughout the day, aerobatic displays, a contemporary art exhibition in the west wing.

We are delighted to be supporting YANA the rural mental health charity this year.

Artisan & Epicurean Stalls

We have a wonderful and diverse selection of artisan products, delicacies, produce and eclectic delights. Come and meet all the makers and producers. You’ll find an extremely tempting selection of artisan breads, cookies and pastries, mouthwatering cheese, homemade chutneys, preserves and sauces, stunning cakes, delicious healthy snacks, gluten free crisps, freshly roasted spicy vegan nuts, irresistible chocolate, fudge, sweets and bon bons. You’ll also come across some unique East Anglian gin, rum, vodka, spirits and liqueurs from local distilleries, English wines from sustainable vineyards, craft beer and non-alcoholic botanical drinks.

We’re delighted to have on board a range of luxury natural skincare, beautifully scented candles, diffusers and wax melts, honey and beeswax products, stunning handmade jewellery, handcrafted furniture, wooden gifts, beautiful ceramics, exquisite textiles and woven goods, eye-catching bags, stylish outerwear and a fantastic selection of preloved and vintage clothing. In addition to this you’ll discover original prints and stationery, house and garden décor, floral designs, local accessories and luxury gifting hampers, and last but not least…dog beds, treats and accessories!

Terraced Garden Bar & Street Food Village

For those in need of further sustenance and a refreshing drink during the day, do wander up to the Terraced Garden to relax, unwind, and listen to live music whilst soaking in the spectacular views of the lake. Here you can enjoy a luscious variety of food and drink on offer, including a champagne & oyster bar, fine wines and spirits, hot smoked salmon, plant-based food, New Delhi street food, local hog roast, delicious fried chicken, hot dogs and scrumptious loaded fries with homemade toppings, traditional scotch eggs, tasty nachos, pastries, cakes, ice creams, milkshakes, coffee & specialist herbal teas, refreshing freshly squeezed French-style lemonade and a range of soft drinks, lager, craft beer and ales.

Live Music

Throughout the day there will also be a programme of live music featuring legendary blues singer Dana Gillespie, The Dave Thomas Blues Band, dynamic vocalist & pianists Dino Baptiste and Matt Gest, violinist extraordinaire Greg Holt and the multi-instrumentalist singer and song writer Claire Nicolson.

Aerobatic Displays

To commemorate D-Day there will be three aerobatic displays taking place at Cornucopia during the day involving a Yak 3, a Pitts Special Bi-Plane and a legendary warbird built in 1940 – the only surviving Hawker Hurricane (Mk1 R4118) that fought in the Battle of Britain.

Art

We are delighted to have the Fairfax Gallery exhibiting in the west wing of the house at Cornucopia. They will be showcasing fabulous talent closer to home with a number of Norfolk based artists. Celebrating thirty years in the contemporary art scene, the Fairfax Gallery first opened its doors in Royal Tunbridge Wells in 1995, expanding to Burnham Market Norfolk in 2001. From 2006 to 2014 the gallery opened a third location on Park Walk in Chelsea holding a busy schedule of solo exhibitions.

Featuring established, award-winning and emerging artists, Fairfax Gallery is dedicated to showcasing the finest contemporary art and sculpture.  The diverse range of abstract, figurative and landscape artists have come to us through the years having exhibited in London, New York, Hong Kong and Singapore.

The festival starts at 11am and finishes at 6pm

Adults £9.00 (under 16s free) if purchased in advance online are at a 25% discount. Just click on the link

Please note tickets on the day are £12, cash and card accepted.

Access to the park where you’ll find a large selection of artisan and epicurean stalls, the Terraced Garden street food area up at the house with live music, the contemporary art exhibition and a Cornucopia tote bag with a map/guide to the festival.

Parking is FREE and there are plenty of spaces available, just follow the signs to the car park where you will find staff to assist you. Please note that this is on grass and the surface is uneven.

Designated Blue Badge parking is available close to the Hall. Please ensure your blue badge is clearly visible on arrival. Please note that most of the festival is taking place on grass which can be uneven and bumpy in many places. We also have a disabled WC available.

Well-behaved dogs on a lead are welcome at the event. Please clear up after them, bring bags with you and use the bins provided. We have some stalls selling dog accessories and treats they will love!  Do not leave your dog unattended in your vehicle.

Stallholders will have card readers and accept cash. Please note that there will not be a cash machine on site.

Yes, we have qualified First Aiders on site.

With a wonderful and large number of artisan and epicurean stalls, live music, an exhibition of contemporary art and lots more, there will be plenty to do, so come and make a day of it.

Cornucopia is an outdoor event, so please dress appropriately, be prepared for all types of weather and wear comfortable footwear.

There will be seating, tables and spaces for picnic rugs available around the site where you can sit, relax and soak up the atmosphere whilst enjoying some delicious food and drink from the wide range of Street Food on offer.

Please note that only food and drink purchased at the festival can be consumed at the event.

Yes, there are two bars, the Terraced Garden bar in the Stretch Tent offering champagne, wine & spirits beer, cocktails and soft drinks, and another, Jack Rabbit Brewing Co., selling creative craft beer.  We kindly ask you to drink responsibly.

Toilets are available in the park and by the street food area; disabled facilities are also available.
